A Reenvisioned Neighborhood Flower Shop.
After years of being a Floral designer, I decided to leave the business to further my career in the hospitality and events industry, planning both social and corporate functions. As much as I had tried to convince myself of not returning to this business (it’s long hours, holidays and high demands), my heart always came back to flowers. The thought of opening up a conventional flower shop was anything but appealing; not to mention the amount of shops in the area that are on the decline.
Let’s face it: nowadays, people view buying flowers as a luxury and most just purchase flowers for a special occasion or event. Here’s the thing: I don’t think there needs to be a reason!
Growing up, my mom almost always had fresh flowers in our home. Bringing home fresh flowers was just as important as bringing home eggs or a loaf of bread. So ask yourself, why not choose to surround yourself with all things pretty?! It’s part of ones self-care.
I wanted to re-envision the neighborhood flower shop. I wanted to create and bring something to our community that was fun and unique, where consumers get excited and want to adorn their homes in flowers. I’m thrilled to provide my customers with this mobile boutique experience.
“It’s impossible,” said pride
“It’s risky,” said experience
“It’s pointless,” said reason
“Give it a try," whispered the HEART
